We seek motivated and ambitious collaborators and provide a well-equipped, interactive environment. The institute operates central facilities for animal work, cell sorting, sequencing, imaging, and proteomics. Candidates should have completed their PhD work with distinction in an area broadly relevant to our work. Expertise in other fields, such as mathematical modelling, biochemistry, etc. is also welcome.
The salary will be a postdoctoral fellowship of the Max Planck Society.
A childcare facility is directly attached to the institute. Handicapped applicants with equal qualifications will be given preferential treatment. The Max Planck Society seeks to increase the number of women in areas, where they are under-represented, and therefore explicitly encourages women to apply.
