University Of Pavia offering Scholarships to Students coming from Developing Countries, Italy

The University of Pavia (UNIPV), in order to promote international cooperation with theDeveloping Countries, offers 51 monthly instalments of 1.000 Euros each as scholarships to study at the University of Pavia or at the Institute for Advanced Study of Pavia (IUSS) during the academic year 2011-2012. Each scholarship will cover also the expenses for the Visa and for the travel to Italy and back (economy class).
The scholarships are designed for students coming from a Developing Country (preferably fromCountries classified as Low-income economies and Lower-middle-income economies by the WorldBank; see http://data.worldbank.org/about/country-classifications/country-and-lending-groups#Low_income) and for Developing Countries students who received a scholarship financed through the FC&K for the academic year 2010-2011 (in this case, expenses for VISA and for travel will not be covered). Only students born on/after the 1st January 1976 can participate. At the end of the academic year, the University of Pavia will issue an academic transcript of records certificating the kind and the period of study.

Fulbright Scholarship Program in Teaching/Research in Chad: American literature, business, finance, computer science, environmental science, agriculture, journalism, mathematics, political science, social sciences

Applications are welcome in American literature, business, finance, computer science, environmental science, agriculture, journalism, mathematics, political science, social sciences and any other discipline offered at the host institution.Teach undergraduate courses in any discipline taught at the host institution, including arts, humanities, social sciences and sciences. Assist with faculty training, curriculum development and student advising.

Conduct research in area of specialization.Scholars with a Ph.D. and postdoctoral university or college teaching experience, as well as prior experience in developing countries, are preferred. The academic calendar in Chad consists of three terms: October through December, January through March and April through June, but is subject to change. A letter of invitation from the host institution is not needed to apply.

2011 Business H3 Global Research Scholarship, Griffith University, Australia: Applied Finance

Griffith Business School, in collaboration with H3 Global Advisors Pty Ltd is offering a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) scholarship worth $AU 32,000 per year.This scholarship is for applicants wishing to undertake full time study in applied finance research topics such as: market efficiency, market microstructure, transaction costs, asset allocation and more.This scholarship is worth $AU 32,000 tax free per year for three years (total $AU96.000), and will be paid as a fortnightly stipend.This scholarship is open to students completing a Doctor of Philosophy degree program.
Applicants should have an Honours degree (1 or 2A) or equivalent.This scholarship is open to both domestic and international student applicants, although applicants should note that this award is a living allowance scholarship only, and will not cover tuition fees. Overseas candidates will need to cover the cost of enrolment fees and any other compulsory costs.
