Hill Country Master Garderners, Inc. Scholarship in Horticultural Studies, USA

Hill Country Master Gardeners, Inc. (HCMG), a non-profit, trained volunteer organization, a component of Texas AgriLife Extension Service, promotes volunteer education and service to the community. As part of our mission, HCMG is offering two $2,000 scholarships in horticultural science for the 2011 – 2012 academic year. It is our intention to provide financial support to two undergraduate or graduate students at Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Tarleton State or Stephen F. Austin State Universities.

The applicant must:
1. Be pursuing a degree in the horticultural sciences.
2. Be a full-time student in one of the four Universities listed above. Full-time is defined as 12 hours for undergraduate and 9 hours for graduate students.
3. Be at Junior level (60 hours) or above, with at least a 3.0 GPA.
4. Be a Texas resident. Preference will be given to students who are residents of Kerr, Kendal, Gillespie and Bandera Counties. If none apply, then any student who meets all other criteria will be considered.

Any one or two-year Master’s degree programme at University of Nairobi. Full tuition fees, an agreed stipend and research costs, one return airfare, and a one-off relocation allowance of USD 500.Applications should be made using the CSFP application form, which can be downloaded, completed electronically and printed.Three copies of the form, three copies of all supporting documentation requested, and evidence that the applicant holds British citizenship.

2011 Master Scholarships for International Students in Politecnico di Milano and in Italy

ID4A – Industrial Design for Architecture Politecnico di Milano, first level university Master program organised by the polytechnic’s Consortium in collaboration with Giugiaro Architettura.The Master program will be conducted in English. The Master program has been launched in response to the needs of a constantly changing job market, with a strong demand for trained professionals able to operate in contexts other than those typically associated with architecture.
The importance given to practical training and field work means that the ID4A Master program prepares System Designers able to operate on a large scale: from the design of single elements, products or components, to that of complex systems designed to be applicable in different construction contexts. It trains versatile professionals with a flexible mindset enabling them to successfully confront the challenges of global design in the differing national and international realities of the sector.
