2011 The University of Kent Graduate School Scholarships, UK

The Graduate School Scholarship Scheme was established in 2009 to celebrate the founding of the University’s Graduate School. This successful scheme has been renewed annually since then; it provides a £1000 scholarship to University of Kent 2011 graduates who earn a Bachelors degree with honours (or undergraduate Masters degree) and register for a postgraduate degree at Kent by 1 October 2011. There is no need to make a separate application. The funding will be provided to all eligible 2011 graduates on registration. The University of Kent offers a broad variety of postgraduate study and research opportunities across a range of superb locations in Canterbury, Medway, Brussels and Paris. Our postgraduates benefit from teaching and supervision by world-leading researchers and have access to excellent facilities and training opportunities.

School of Computing Scholarships for MSc Courses, University of Kent, UK

The School of Computing offers a number of scholarships to MSc students of any nationality. The amount awarded depends on your tuition fee rate:UK and European Union students receive a discount equivalent to the standard full-time tuition fee (worth about £4500)Students from other countries receive a £2000 discount.Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit as evidenced by your application form (including transcripts and references) and the online funding request form (see below).

In previous years most applicants with a First Class Honours degree from the UK (or equivalent) were awarded a scholarship and some candidates with a good Second Class Honours degree (or equivalent) also received funding.Scholarships are normally guaranteed for eligible overseas (non-EU) students with a degree meeting.We reserve the right to decline funding if the result was achieved only after multiple repetitions or if the degree was not awarded by a university with a good reputation.Applicants from other countries will be considered on an individual basis.

2011 MA Scholarships at Brussels School of International Studies, UK: Politics, International relation,Law

Scholarships for our MA programmes are awarded twice per year; normally in June for students starting in September and in November for those starting in January. Successful candidates will be registered at the University of Kent as full time students on the taught programmes stated above and will receive payment to cover 50% of their tuition fees (€7,475 in 2010/11). These scholarships are open to students of all nationalities.The University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies (UKB) awards seven masters scholarships. Six scholarships are in politics and international relations and one is in law. There is currently no masters scholarship in migration studies.

In addition to possessing an offer of admission onto a UKB programme applicants should normally have obtained, or be about to obtain, a relevant undergraduate degree at least at First Class level (UK), or GPA 3.5 (US) or equivalent.These scholarships are open to students of all nationalities.
