Business School International Undergraduate Management Distinction Scholarships, UK

The Business School is offering a number of Scholarships for academic distinction to students applying for our undergraduate management programmes. Ten awards of £2,000 are available and will be awarded to new student applicants on the basis of academic merit. Preference will be given to applicants who have already satisfied the School’s English language requirements. There will be a further 10 awards for applicants who have already been made the offer of a place on the programme. The Programme Directors will look at all of the short-listed Distinction Scholarship applications.In particular, the successful applicant will need to highlight:
•an excellent academic record at all levels attained so far;
•an awareness of the content of the programme and an aptitude for the themes that are covered;
•areas in which they can contribute to the successful completion of the programme for both themselves and fellow participants;

Kenyatta University M.Sc. Scholarship Programme in “Intregrated Soil Fertility Management (ISFM)”, Kenya

This will be a 2-year MSc programme with course work, examination and thesis with effect from September 2011. The programme has been developed with support from Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA).
The programme is designed to take cognizance of new and emerging knowledge and skills in the management of soil fertility for sustainable soil productivity. It addresses the contemporary challenges and highly complex issues that affect soil productivity and sustainable development. The degree is intended to produce well trained scientists equipped with modern knowledge and skills for analyzing and interpreting data to solving the soil productivity challenges that are affecting farming communities in food production. The programme is also intended to avail excellent opportunities in broadening the students perspectives and vision for global market competitiveness, for careers in the environmental sector, fertilizer industry research and further training to PhD level.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission in this MSc programme. We actively encourage applications form suitable female candidates. Female candidates from Mozambique are especially encouraged to apply. 2011 The University of Kent Graduate School Scholarships, UK

The Graduate School Scholarship Scheme was established in 2009 to celebrate the founding of the University’s Graduate School. This successful scheme has been renewed annually since then; it provides a £1000 scholarship to University of Kent 2011 graduates who earn a Bachelors degree with honours (or undergraduate Masters degree) and register for a postgraduate degree at Kent by 1 October 2011. There is no need to make a separate application. The funding will be provided to all eligible 2011 graduates on registration. The University of Kent offers a broad variety of postgraduate study and research opportunities across a range of superb locations in Canterbury, Medway, Brussels and Paris.
