Scholarship Description: KCA Deutag employs over 5,000 people worldwide and from designing the next generation of drilling rigs and facilities to delivering highly complex drilling programmes, we look to our people for success. KCA Deutag is the largest platform drilling contractor in the UK sector of the North Sea, one of the largest international drilling contractors outside the Americas and a world leader in drilling engineering, drilling facilities engineering, rig design, construction and operation. Applicants will be assessed on academic performance and their interpersonal and leadership skills. They should also show enthusiasm and commitment for a career in the dynamic energy industry. Short listed applicants will be invited to an interview at KCA Deutag. Renewal of the award after each year is dependant on continued good academic performance.

Bickerton-Widdowson Trust Memorial Scholarship, New Zealand: Fine Arts

The Bickerton-Widdowson Trust Memorial Scholarships, administered by the Trustees, were established by a bequest in 1957 under the will of the late Clara Bickerton for the purpose of assisting students in the continuance of studies at the University of Canterbury. Income from the Trust is made available annually to Christchurch Boys High School, Christchurch Girls High School, Hagley Community College and the School of Fine Arts at the University of Canterbury.
Eligibility:Scholarships tenable at the School of Fine Arts of the University of Canterbury are open to any student of the School of Fine Arts.
