Higher Education Commission (HEC) aims to elevate the socio-economic position of the needy & deserving students by providing access to quality education through needs-based scholarships. Government of Pakistan has also duly acknowledged the financial constraints barring students from acquiring higher education and has thus earmarked substantial funds for the improvement of education sector.

Scholarships available for BBA (Four years) and MBA level studies for coming session 2011.
Admission and Scholarship forms will be available in May 2011. Session will start in August 201

Scholarship Offering: Comprehensive scholarship is offered under the program. The scholarship provides funds for the following expenses:
1. Tuition Fee, 2. Lodging
3. Transportation, 4. Books
5. Other Academics Costs

Sheffield Hallam University participates in the CSSS Scheme and welcomes applications from students for this prestigious award. The award covers tuition fees, living and travel costs for the duration of a Masters course. In 2011/12 Sheffield Hallam University is going to allocate three CSSS scholarships. Three CSSS scholarships are available for the academic year 2011/12 (September intake). The deadline for applications is 15 April 2011 Guidance on how to apply can be found on the CSSS website. Eligibility: To meet Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) eligibility criteria, candidates must

  • be nationals of (or permanently domiciled in) a Commonwealth developing country, and not be currently living or studying in a developed country
  • hold a first degree at either first or upper second class level
  • be sufficiently fluent in English to pursue the course
  • have not previously studied for one year or more in a developed country
  • not be employed by a government department (at national level) or a fully/partially state-owned corporation/government agency (employees of universities are normally acceptable however)
  • be able to confirm in writing that neither they nor their families would otherwise be able to pay for the proposed course of study

Our risk and reliability research has a strong background and knowledge basis in the risk management of technological systems in industry. The current research aims at more comprehensive approaches by developing methods and models to handle business risks in different phases of the innovation process and enterprise networks. The understanding on risk, reliability, safety and security issues and their management also builds up capability to support companies in developing new service business related to safety and security.

The task is to develop methods and models for total comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The more detailed research focus can be in supporting business continuity management, in modeling of the effects of safety and security measures, or in security business development.Expectations Success in this position requires a background in risk and reliability management, or in safety and security management.
