A scholarship of the amount of 40,000$ will be granted for the 2011-2012 year.
Time period
The scholarship will start in September 2011 and will cover the 2011-2012 scholar years.
Eligibility
• Submit a research proposal relevant to the prevention of suicide;
• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec (OIIQ);
• Be registered in a PhD program at a Quebec institution in nursing science or clinical science, and
be supervised by a nursing science teacher;
• (if the candidate is in his/her first scholar year): be registered in classes or activities for a minimum of 9 credits in the course of the scholar year;
• (if the candidate as started his Phd research); present a letter with a summary of the research progress written by the supervisor.
• the student and his/her supervisor must be a member of the RQRS
