Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. Eligibility: You must be from a developing country.
Criteria: Financial need and to be employed in the relevant sector in a country prone to disaster. Scholarships are available for the short course ‘Nutrition in Emergencies’, which will run from 4 July to 8 July 2011.

Geoffrey Copland Scholarship at University of Westminster 2011, UK

Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. Eligibility: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree. Criteria: Academic excellence, development potential and financial need. Dr Geoffrey Copland retired as the Vice-Chancellor in July 2007, and this scholarship is named for him in recognition of his unfailing support for the scholarships programme.

Fellowship Opportunity for Master’s Degree in Comparative and International Disability Policy, Thailand

The Nippon Foundation will provide full fellowships including tuitions, books, required assistive technology and other support services, to a small group of individuals with disabilities to pursue graduate studies (Master’s level) in Comparative and International Disability Policy (CIPD), beginning in August 2011 at the recently establishment Institute on Disability and Public Policy (IDPP) for the ASEAN region. This program will be offered entirely online, with the exception of a two-week residency held at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand July 18th-29th.

The aim of the IDPP is to serve as a regional resource to both public and private sectors. The institute will develop a cadre of leaders who will work to foster public policies consistent with the overall vision of the ASEAN Socio-cultural Community. That is an inclusive, barrier-free and rights-based region where people who are disabled are leaders in the determination of their own destinies.The IDPP fellowship committee is currently recruiting a small number of candidates who have
1) Hearing Impairments, 2) Vision Impairments, or 3) Mobility Impairments, to serve as a human resource cadre to the IDPP and conduct research on disability and public policy in the ASEAN region.
