With a view to intensify interaction and the scientific cooperation between Indian and Ukraine Scientists/Institutions, Department of Science and Technology (DST) for the Government of the Republic of India and the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Information of Ukraine extend support for joint research projects involving exchange of visits, workshops /conferences, under the India-Ukraine Bilateral Scientific Cooperation programme.

Eligibilty/ Project Participation
Faculty, Scientists and Academicians belonging to Universities, Deemed Universities and Research Institutes having permanent positions can apply as Principal Investigator (PI). In order to qualify for such funding

JRF Positions in Environmental and Occupational Exposure and Male Reproductive Function, India

Candidates who have passed the national written test like UGC-CSIR NET, ICMR-JRF may appear for the walk-in-interview on 08-03-2011 at 11 a.m. for the post of Junior Research Fellow in DST funded project Environmental and occupational exposure and male reproductive functionin the Department of Reproductive and Cyto-toxicology of the institute. Post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. M.Sc. in Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular biology/ Biotechnology or other related subjects with good academic record and should pass the National written test like UGC-CSIR NET, ICMR-JRF and NET Qualified for lectureship and ICMR exam qualified for the JRF in Project will also be considered

International PhD Positions, MPI-CBG, Germany: Cell and Developmental Biology/Regenerative Medicine/Nanobiotechnology, Biophysics and Bioengineering

The International Max Planck Research School for Molecular Cell Biology and Bioengineering (IMPRS-MCBB) is a joint program of the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) and the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), and was established as one of the first International Max Planck Research Schools by the Max Planck Society in 2001.
The IMPRS-MCBB provides interdisciplinary training and research opportunities in a highly attractive and inspiring research environment for outstanding University Graduates who wish to work towards a PhD in the fields of Molecular Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Developmental Biology, Genetics, Biophysics, Neurobiology and Bioinformatics.

The IMPRS-MCBB hosts about 150 PhD students from over 30 countries in total. Admission to the IMPRS-MCBB is highly competitive, with approximately 40 candidates being admitted each year. PhD students have a primary affiliation with one of the participating research groups, and are enrolled as graduate students at the TUD. The language of the PhD Program is English. The duration of thesis is 3 to 4 years.
