PhD Scholarships are available at the University of Brunei Darussalam for Wind Energy Research. The Scholarships include monthly allowance, annual research/field work allowance, full tuition fee and economy airfare. We are looking for students with Masters in Engineering or Physics with excellent analytical and computational skills. PhD Scholarships in Management, UK

The University of Southampton’s School of Management is internationally recognised as one of the UK’s leading centres for management education and research.
The School will be offering a small number of PhD Scholarships for full-time entry on 29 September 2011.
We will consider applications to undertake research in any area of: Accounting, Accountability and Governance, Banking, Corporate Social Responsibility, Entrepreneurship, Financial Markets, Health Management, Human Resources, Information Technology/Systems, Innovation, Management Science, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Research, Risk, Supply Chain Management, and Strategy.
One of the scholarships will specifically be awarded for the area of “Quantitative management science/operational research”, involving research in green logistics and transport, healthcare, optimization and heuristics.

The LH Ainsworth Cancer Research Scholarship, Australia: Understanding, prevention, treatment or cure of cancer

The Scholarship is established to encourage students to undertake Postgraduate Research study in a field relevant to the understanding, prevention, treatment or cure of cancer. To be eligible for a Scholarship, an applicant must be undertaking or proposing to enrol in a full-time Masters by Research or PhD in a field relevant to the understanding, prevention, treatment or cure of cancer.  The Scholarship recipient should not normally hold any other Scholarship or award (except an Australian Postgraduate Award) except with the permission of the UNSW Selection Committee. The Scholarship is tenable for one year only. Completed application forms and any supporting documentation should be scanned and emailed (preferably as a single pdf document) to the Graduate Research School on scholarships.grs@unsw.edu.au by the specified closing date.
