Postdoctoral Fellowship, University of South Dakota , USA: Biology

The Sanford Project has Postdoctoral Positions immediately available to study beta cell regeneration in mouse model of human type 1 diabetes at Sanford Health/University of South Dakota. A Ph.D. or M.D. degree with background in cellular and molecular biology is required. Experience in tissue culture, gene expression analysis such as real-time PCR and gene microarray, protein assay such as western blotting, and confocal microscopy are be highly desirable. Additional information and position details can be requested by contacting Dr. Zhiguang Guo (Zhiguang.Guo-at-sanfordhealth.org).
The Sanford Project, an emerging translational research center focused on treating type 1 diabetes is funded by Sanford Health, a $400 million gift to Sanford Health by Denny Sanford, a $10 million donation from the Todd & Linda Broin family, and by extramural funding. The positions are located at the new Sanford Research Center (300,000 sq ft) in Sioux Falls, SD. An established collaboration with the Sanford-Burnham Institute for Medical Research in La Jolla, CA, provides for an integrated, world class, academic research environment.
