The Art Institutes Passion for Fashion Scholarship Competition is your chance to earn a fashion scholarship and get moving toward a more fashionable future. Whether you have a passion for design or for the business side of fashion, you’re encouraged to enter in one of the following categories:

1. Fashion Design
2. Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and Retail Management.

The grand prize winners in both categories also have the exciting opportunity to tour the Seventeen Magazine offices and lunch with a Style Pro, indulge in a $500 shopping spree, attend New York City Fashion Week—and blog about the experience on Seventeen.com.

Deadline
All complete entries must be postmarked by Friday, November 19, 2010 at The Art Institutes school at which you plan to enter the Competition and attend following it. A local winner will be selected from each participating school whose design will go on to represent it in the national competition. Local winners will be selected in December 2010; national winners will be announced in January 2011.

The Compton Fund

Description:
The Compton Fund was established to provide scholarships to undergraduate students participating in SIT programs with environmental, peace studies, or sustainable development themes. Particular emphasis will be given to students representing U.S. minority groups.
