University of Exeter Foundation Scholarships for International Students, UK: Science, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences, Computer Science and Maths

The University of Exeter and INTO University of Exeter invite applications for the University of Exeter Foundation Scholarships. The scholarships have been created to assist international fee-paying students who need to complete a Foundation Programme before enrolling on a University of Exeter undergraduate degree programme.
The scholarships are available to all international students applying for the following  into University of Exeter Foundation pathways:
• Foundation pathway in Science Leading to an undergraduate degree in College of Life and Environmental Sciences
• Foundation pathway in Humanities, Law and Social Sciences Leading to an undergraduate degree in the College of Social Sciences and International Studies or the College of Humanities
• Foundation pathway in Computer Science and Maths Leading to a degree in the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
The Foundation programme commences in September 2011 and January 2012. Successful completion of the appropriate Foundation pathway (subject to meeting specified grades for entry) guarantees students progression onto a wide range of undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Exeter.

Faculty of Arts and Humanities Masters Scholarships -2011, London: History, Religion: Asia/Africa.

Four scholarships are available for overseas fee-paying students who are proposing to register for the full-time MA Religions or MA History: Asia/ Africa at SOAS for the academic session 2011/12.The scholarship, valued at £15,000, will be used to meet the cost of tuition fees at the overseas rate and the remaining sum may be used towards maintenance.

The Duncan and Morag MacLean Studentship, UK: Celtic and Gaelic Studies

Roinn na Ceiltis is na Gàidhlig / Celtic and Gaelic at the University of Glasgow invites applications for a newly established postgraduate studentship from a suitable graduate student in need of financial support in respect of living expenses and / or fees. Applicants should normally have been accepted for a postgraduate Masters programme in Celtic and Gaelic Studies at the University of Glasgow and have career interests in teaching, education or research (broadly defined).

The award for session 2011-2012 is tenable for one year only to enable the successful candidate to complete a Master’s postgraduate programme. The award will not normally be renewed except in exceptional circumstances. The value of the studentship for next session (2011-2012) should be in the region of £9,000.

1. A fully collated curriculum vitae including the names and addresses (also email) of two referees (bound copies are not necessary).
2. A covering letter explaining why you wish to be considered for this Studentship, detailing any other funding secured and/or applied for in connection with your PG Master’s programme.
3. A brief outline of your current research interests (approx. one page).
