University of Southampton Fashion Marketing Scholarship 2011-2012, UK

The undergraduate scholarships is funded by Winchester School of Art .The UK/EU and international students can apply for this scholarship. Scholarships have been put in place to assist students during their studies at the School.
Fashion Marketing Scholarship is available to both UK/EU and International students. These scholarships are £500 for UK/EU students and £1,000 for International students. They are offered on “first come, first served” basis.
A limited number of scholarships are available to eligible students who have accepted a place on the BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing Programme for the coming academic year and who are not in receipt of any other scholarship/bursary from WSA. These scholarships are for the first year only.

CCWH/Berkshire and CCWH/Ida B. Wells Award, USA

This award is given to a female A.B.D. graduate student working on a historical dissertation, not necessarily in a history department. Applications for work on a project involving issues of race are particularly welcome.
1) be a CCWH member
(2) be a woman graduate student in a U.S. institution
(3) have passed to A.B.D. status by the time of the application. She may hold this award and others simultaneously. The applicant may specialize in any field, but must be working on an historical.The CCWH/Berkshire Conference of Women Historians Graduate Student Fellowship is a $1000 award to a female graduate student completing a dissertation in a history department.
The CCWH Ida B. Wells Graduate Student Fellowship is a $1000 award to an A.B.D. female graduate student working on a historical dissertation, not necessarily in a history department.

Dulcie Bowman Scholarship in University of Auckland, New Zealand: Medical

The Scholarship was established to commemorate Miss Dulcie Bowman who died in February 1996. In spite of suffering from a significant hearing disability Dulcie Bowman graduated from The University of Auckland and thereafter pursued a career in teaching. The Scholarship was established in 1996 by Dulcie Bowman’s sister, Miss Alva Bowman, who gifted a capital sum to fund the Award.To encourage hearing impaired women students at either undergraduate or postgraduate levels enrolled in an approved program-me of study at Auckland University.
The Scholarship shall be awarded to a woman student at The University of Auckland who is enrolled part-time or full-time and who has paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, in the second or subsequent year of an approved course of study and who has a hearing disability (the nature of which and the degree of hearing loss needs to be confirmed in writing by a medical practitioner)
The basis of selection shall be academic merit assessed on the first year of university study.
The Scholarship shall be awarded by the Council upon the recommendation of a selection committee comprising the Vice-Chancellor (or nominee), a Dean of one of the University’s Faculties, and the Disabilities coordinator.
