A vibrant arts sector underpins a healthy, open, contemporary society. An energised, growing and sustainable arts community, which spans all art forms and delivers quality outcomes, will sustain an even more demanding leisure industry and is vital to ensure the future cultural, social, intellectual and economic wellbeing of Malta.

Aims and Objectives
Without prejudice to, and in line with, clause 1 above, the Arts Scholarships Scheme shall have the following aims and objectives:

the Arts Scholarship scheme aims at providing more opportunities to promote specialisation in the arts, including performance, music, dance, design, creative writing, film and the visual arts or any combination there of;these scholarships are intended to support individuals who are exceptionally talented in any field of the arts so that one is able to pursue a programme of studies leading to a specialised level in the arts.

Business School International Undergraduate Management Distinction Scholarships, UK

The Business School is offering a number of Scholarships for academic distinction to students applying for our undergraduate management programmes. Ten awards of £2,000 are available and will be awarded to new student applicants on the basis of academic merit. Preference will be given to applicants who have already satisfied the School’s English language requirements. There will be a further 10 awards for applicants who have already been made the offer of a place on the programme. The Programme Directors will look at all of the short-listed Distinction Scholarship applications.In particular, the successful applicant will need to highlight:
•an excellent academic record at all levels attained so far;
•an awareness of the content of the programme and an aptitude for the themes that are covered;
•areas in which they can contribute to the successful completion of the programme for both themselves and fellow participants;

2011-2012 Scholarship in the College of Communications at The Pennsylvania State University, USA

To apply, read the guidelines first, then complete the appropriate fields below and submit the application. When submitted properly, you will receive a copy of your filed application. ·  The College of Communications Scholarship Application Form (required to be considered for any scholarship from the College). Available online below.  FAFSA (Free Application for Federal and State Aid) is required for scholarships that stipulate financial need. In order to establish and document your financial need, you must complete this form in accordance with instructions from the Office of Student Aid. This financial statement should be filed as soon as possible after Jan. 1. This form is required for any scholarship awarded for “demonstrated financial need,” and more than 95 percent of College of Communications scholarships require that proof. Eligibility:
Recipient selection is based on the pre-set criteria established for each scholarship. While on scholarship, students must continue to meet the eligibility requirements:

  • Declare a major in the College of Communications at University Park
  • Complete a full-time course load (12 or more credits per semester with a requirement of 30 credits per year)
  • Maintain a respectful cumulative GPA
  • Attend scholarship recognition events as requested
