Geoffrey Copland Scholarship at University of Westminster 2011, UK

Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. Eligibility: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree. Criteria: Academic excellence, development potential and financial need. Dr Geoffrey Copland retired as the Vice-Chancellor in July 2007, and this scholarship is named for him in recognition of his unfailing support for the scholarships programme.

University Of Pavia offering Scholarships to Students coming from Developing Countries, Italy

The University of Pavia (UNIPV), in order to promote international cooperation with theDeveloping Countries, offers 51 monthly instalments of 1.000 Euros each as scholarships to study at the University of Pavia or at the Institute for Advanced Study of Pavia (IUSS) during the academic year 2011-2012. Each scholarship will cover also the expenses for the Visa and for the travel to Italy and back (economy class).
The scholarships are designed for students coming from a Developing Country (preferably fromCountries classified as Low-income economies and Lower-middle-income economies by the WorldBank; see http://data.worldbank.org/about/country-classifications/country-and-lending-groups#Low_income) and for Developing Countries students who received a scholarship financed through the FC&K for the academic year 2010-2011 (in this case, expenses for VISA and for travel will not be covered). Only students born on/after the 1st January 1976 can participate. At the end of the academic year, the University of Pavia will issue an academic transcript of records certificating the kind and the period of study.

Newcastle University Nigeria Scholarships, UK: Humanities Arts and Social Sciences (HASS), Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE), and Medical Sciences

The International Office is delighted to announce 2 Newcastle University Nigeria Scholarship (NU Nigeria Scholarship) awards. These are available for high achieving Nigerian students applying for entry onto postgraduate taught degree or research programmes within the Faculties of Humanities Arts and Social Sciences (HASS), Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE), and Medical Sciences (FMS) commencing their studies in September 2011.  Each scholarship will have a value of £3,000, payable towards the first year of tuition fees.
Eligibility: You could be eligible to apply for a NU Nigeria Scholarship if: You have been offered a place on any postgraduate degree programme in the faculties of HASS,  SAgE or FMS.You are a Nigerian national and have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes. You have an First Class Bachelors degree from a recognised Nigerian University and satisfy all other requirements.You intend to register to start your studies during the 2011-12 academic yearYou are a self-funded student and not in receipt of other University or external awards
