2011-2013 MERIT Scholarships for Category C Students: Information and Communication Technologies.

MERIT the European Master of Research on Information and Communication Technologies is a European 2-year post-graduate programme taught in English at the following MERIT Consortium Institutions: Category C Student Scholarships are offered to highly qualified EU national students, who are BSc graduates from one of the MERIT Consortium Institutions and who wish to study one master year at the institution from where they are BSc graduates and one year at another institution belonging to the MERIT Consortium, beginning September 2011.The number of MERIT Category C student scholarships for the MERIT course 2011-2013 is limited to 20. The application deadline for MERIT Category C student scholarships is 17:00 (CET) on April 15th, 2011 to do electronic data entry and upload of required documents in the on-line application tool.
Eligibility: Applications are sought from students in their final year of university programs in electrical engineering or an equivalent university degree involving at least 3 years of coursework (equivalent to 180 ECTS). Priority will be given to applicants whose background and interest match closely with those of MERIT. In any case, applicants should hold a university degree by September 1st 2011.

DoM Visionary Scholarship(MBM Full-Time) at University of Strathclyde, UK

This award is intended for candidates who are prepared to test new ideas; to go beyond the status quo and make a difference to industry and society. Candidates must demonstrate through their ideas, experience and achievements that they are an excellent team player, with a strong vision for the future. Leadership/management skills or potential, overall quality of the application and financial need will also be considered. The award will be judged on a 1000 word statement supplied by each candidate that should state which scholarship you wish to be considered for and should clearly articulate how you meet the scholarship criteria. Please also submit a maximum of 300 words outlining your reason for applying for the scholarship. Before applications for this studentship may be considered, candidates must have applied for admission to, and received either an unconditional or conditional place, on the Law School’s postgraduate research programme.

2011-2012 Arts and Cultures Scholarship, Newcastle University, UK

Newcastle University School of Arts and Cultures,Newcastle University is delighted to announce 5 new East Asian Arts and Cultures scholarship awards. These are available for international students from East Asian countries (China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong) starting their Postgraduate studies in September 2011 in the School of Arts and Cultures  Each scholarship will have a value of £2,600 per year, payable towards tuition.
Eligibility: You could be eligible to apply for these awards if: you have been made a Conditional or Unconditional offer for a place on a Postgraduate degree programme offered by the School of Arts and Cultures. You have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes. You intend to register to start your studies during the 2011-12 academic years. Applications for these awards cannot be made for a course that has already been started by a student.
