2011 Sripatun International College Scholarships for Undergraduate, Thailand: International Business Communication,Business Administration in Hotel Management

Sripatum University, one of the finest private university in Thailand, was established in 1970 by the name “Sripatum College”. This name was given by HRH the Prince Mother. In 1987, the college was promoted to university status by the Ministry of University Affairs, and has since been known as Sripatum University. From then on, the university has expanded to three campuses, Bangkhen and Phayathai Campuses in Bangkok, and the other one in Chonburi province near the country’s Eastern Seaboard. In March 2002, Sripatum University has reached another key milestone for being accredited by the International Standards Organization (ISO 9001:2000).

•Applicants to 4-year programs must hold a M.6 certificate (grade 12) or its equivalent as issued by the Ministry of Education. G.C.E. “O” level not less than “C” in 5 subjects or high school certificate from accredited institution (12 years of schooling).
•Applicants to continuing programs must hold a diploma; higher-vocational level or equivalent, from schools or colleges recognized by the Ministry of Education.
•Clear record of good behavior (police record)
• Good physical health and mental health
• Working knowledge of English and Mathematics
• One or the following test scores
– TOEFL or IELTS

Campbell Burns Research Studentships, UK: Law

The Law School at the University of Strathclyde invites applications for the award of a Campbell Burns Studentship. The required application forms for admission to postgraduate study as well as Campbell Burns Studentship application forms and regulations are available from the address or email below. They are also downloadable from the website below. All research students at Strathclyde Law School may access the Departmental Research and Development Fund to assist in expenses arising directly from their research activity.
Eligibility: Area of research interest resonant with the expertise and current interests of available Law School staff. Proven or potential ability to teach at undergraduate level. If English is not the applicant’s first language, a minimum of 7 in IELTS, or equivalent, will be required. First or Upper Second Class Honours degree (or equivalent) is required. Before applications for this studentship may be considered, candidates must have applied for admission to, and received either an unconditional or conditional place, on the Law School’s postgraduate research programme.

The School reserves the possibility of accepting up to a maximum of 2 further students without grant or other forms of financial support.
The aim of the program, in line with the standards of excellence pursued by the School, is to provide a training path oriented both at research activities and at professional careers in the private and public sectors, involving structured courses and supervised research yielding an original dissertation to be discussed in a public examination.
