2011 MSc Food and Water Security Scholarships, Aberystwyth University, UK

A total of 3 scholarships, each worth £5000 towards tuition fees will be available for full-time students on the MSc Food & Water Security course that commences in September 2011. The scholarships will be awarded for academic excellence (minimum of a UK upper second class honours degree or equivalent, either already achieved or predicted by the candidate’s awarding university required for consideration). In order to be considered for one of these awards, an application for a place on a taught Masters degree at Aberystwyth University.

A total of 3 scholarships worth £5000 from tuition fees of full-time students on the MSc Food & Water Security course are available for students who commence their studies in September 2011. This is open to both UK/EU and non-EU students. Separate application forms will not be required. Therefore it is essential that the application for a place.

Postgraduate Law Scholarships at St Anne’s College, UK

St Anne’s College: two BCL/MJur Law Scholarships. The scholarships are open to graduates of any university. Applicants should apply to Oxford University in the normal way, naming St Anne’s College as their first choice college.As part of the development of postgraduate Law studies at St Anne’s College, directed by Professor Stefan Talmon, St Anne’s will offer two Scholarships worth up to £2,500 to two suitably qualified students applying for the BCL or M Jur.
It is expected that the successful candidates will fully involve themselves in the activities of St Anne’s and help promote postgraduate studies in Law and relevant interdisciplinary areas. 2011 Fulbright Scholarship Program in Teaching/Research in Cameroon

Teaching at CATUC, CCU and the University of Buea is in English, while teaching at the Adventist University is in French. In the other universities, professors may teach in English or French, but they need to have a working knowledge of French.Candidates will teach advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in any discipline offered at a participating host institution and may provide tutorials and student advising services. They may also supervise graduate student research and mentor faculty. They will have time for personal research in any area of research interest.Teaching at CATUC, CCU and the University of Buea is in English, while teaching at the Adventist University is in French. Scholars with a Ph.D. and a minimum two years postdoctoral university or college teaching experience are preferred. Academic and professional candidates will be considered. Applicants combining teaching and research are advised to plan on an 80/20 teaching to research ratio. Undergraduate classes (100-1,000 students) are large in public schools, but get smaller (below 100) for advanced and graduate classes. Candidates are advised to correspond with potential host institutions to determine whether their specializations fit into existing programs. A letter of invitation is recommended, but not required.
