The Old Mutual Education Trust Scholarships Program 2011-2012, South Africa: Agricultural Studies, Architectural and Environmental Studies, Biological, Physical and Chemical Sciences Business, Commerce and Management Sciences/Studies, Communication, Computer Science

This scholarship provides funding to study on a full time, part time or on a distance basis, for a first time undergraduate degree or diploma (including BTech) at an accredited Higher Education Institution.The candidate can apply if He/She is a member or staff member of one of the participating Trade Unions, child of a member or staff member, and are under the age of 25.And if He/She grandchild or other child blood relation of the member or staff member, and are under the age of 25, and are solely financially dependent on the member.
The scholarship will cover Registration and Tuition Fees,Prescribed books and other approved study materials,Accommodation and meals in a residence administered by the Higher Education Institution for students studying on a full time basis.

TGI offering 35 PhD Studentships tenable at Participating Universities and ITs: Minimal Energy Internet Protocols & Architecture, Service Management: adaptation for social connectivity, Self-Organizing Wireless Networks,Novel Optical Network Architectures

In all, TGI will offer 35 PhD studentships tenable at participating Universities and ITs. Each studentship is for 4 years and carries a tax-free stipend of €16,000 per year as well as an allowance towards student fees of €5,000 per annum.  In the table below, we have listed the research topic areas, the number of studentships available and a link offering further details on how to apply for studentships at that institution. Students who wish to apply should first consult the TGI website. This carries details of the studentships on offer, the research topics of interest, industry links and the institution at which they are tenable. Following a selection process undertaken by the potential supervisor, you will be guided through the admission process for your host institution.
Eligibility: Applications are welcome from students with a background in Engineering, Computer Science a related discipline. High calibre candidates holding, or expecting to receive a degree at first or upper second class level are encouraged to

Fulbright Scholarship Program in Teaching/Research in Chad: American literature, business, finance, computer science, environmental science, agriculture, journalism, mathematics, political science, social sciences

Applications are welcome in American literature, business, finance, computer science, environmental science, agriculture, journalism, mathematics, political science, social sciences and any other discipline offered at the host institution.Teach undergraduate courses in any discipline taught at the host institution, including arts, humanities, social sciences and sciences. Assist with faculty training, curriculum development and student advising.

Conduct research in area of specialization.Scholars with a Ph.D. and postdoctoral university or college teaching experience, as well as prior experience in developing countries, are preferred. The academic calendar in Chad consists of three terms: October through December, January through March and April through June, but is subject to change. A letter of invitation from the host institution is not needed to apply.
