MSRA Postdoctoral Fellowship, Australia: Biomedical, clinical or population health.

The MSRA Postdoctoral fellowship is open to those candidates who have achieved their PhD within the last twelve years. MSRA may also consider applications from students in the final year of their PhD studies. The duration of the Postdoctoral fellowship is typically three years. Typical Grant-in-Aid amount may be $70-80,000 per year. In order to increase your chances of funding please also consider applying for a NHMRC Early Career or Career Development award.
Eligibility: Applicants must have been awarded their PhD within the last 12 years (consideration will also be given to final year PhD students).

2011-2012 Postdoctoral Fellowship in Race and Gender History, Rutgers University, New Jersey

The Rutgers Center for Historical Analysis at Rutgers University announces a postdoctoral fellowship for scholars pursuing research in race and gender studies. The successful applicant must have the doctorate in hand at the time of application, be no more than six years beyond the Ph.D., and be able to teach history courses. The fellowship of $45,000 is of one year duration and includes benefits and a $2,000 research stipend. The recipient will teach at least one small course in the history department and participate in the seminar series at the RCHA. HOMING PLUS Programme:Grants for Young Scholars, Poland: Bio, Info, Techno categories

The objective of the programme is to encourage young Polish scholars abroad to return to Poland. The programme is also open to young PhDs who are citizens of other countries but interested in spending a postdoctoral fellowship in Poland.

The programme is directed to persons who:
* hold at least a doctorate and are in the early stage of their academic career (up to 4 years after obtaining the doctorate*);
* have been abroad for an uninterrupted period of at least 9 months (conducting research, on a postdoctoral fellowship, or preparing a doctoral dissertation);
* intend to come to Poland within 6 months after the application deadline, or returning to Poland no earlier than 12 months prior to the application deadline; and
* work in Poland in a research unit or have received a promise of employment there for at least the duration of the project.
