Erasmus Mundus Masters in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy

The ME3 Masters program extends over 2 years. It is composed of an academic period which lasts 3 semesters, and of an industrial or research project period, which covers the 4th semester.

For the 2011-2013 edition of the ME3 program, 3 options should be available. Students will have to indicate their preference for option during application process. The ME3 academic steering board will decide the final option for each accepted applicants which will be informed in their acceptance letter.

The Consortium of the European joint Masters of Science in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy (ME3) is composed of five institutions :

– Ecole des Mines de Nantes (EMNantes), France which is the coordinating institution
– Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid from Universidad Polytecnica de Madrid (UPM/ETSII), Spain
– Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (Royal Institute of Technology) (KTH), Sweden
– Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary
– Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB), Northern Ireland, United Kingdom

The first three institutions will host students during the academic part of the programme. The two last ones will participate in the teaching, and possibly may host students during the last semester devoted to the Master Thesis.

Scholarship Application Deadline:
Erasmus Mundus scholarship Category A is 15 December 2010 for paper applications, and 22 December 2010 for online applications.
The application deadline for candidates who apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship Category B is Spring 2011.

European Master on Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P)

The European Master on Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P) is a graduate university programme, supported by the European Commission through the Erasmus Mundus Programme which provides a Postgraduated Diploma.
The Master requires a university undergraduate degree in Psychology. The objective is to contribute to the qualification of professionals and researchers in the discipline of Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology emphasizing a European approach and perspective. The Master implements the main guidelines developed by the Euro-Psych model for the European Diploma of Psychology (EDP) supported by the European Federation of Psychology Association (EFPA). It also follows the Reference Model and Minimal Standards of the European Curriculum in WOP Psychology established by the European Network of Work and Organizational Psychology Professors (ENOP).

Five European universities are involved: Universitat de València (Spain) as the coordinating institution, Universitat de Barcelona (Spain), Université René Descartes Paris 5 (France), Alma Mater Studiorum-Università di Bologna (Italy), and Universidade de Coimbra (Portugal) and two Non-European universities are also involved: Universidade de Brasília (Brazil) and University of Guelph (Canada).

The duration of the Programme is two full-time years, with a total workload of 120 ECTS credits (60 per year). The languages of instruction and examination can be any of the following languages: English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

European Master in Transnational Trade Law & Finance

European Master in Transnational Trade Law & Finance (EMTTLF), a new Erasmus Mundus Master Program. This Master is a joint Postgraduate Program offered by 4 European Leading Universities and coordinated by the School of Law of the University of Deusto.

This Master aims are:

image019 To directly respond to this increasing internationalization; to teach international trade law and finance, understood from various perspectives and dimensions; to develop a Programme which dissects the relevant juridical questions arising from international transactions.
-To promote the interdisciplinary and multicultural facets of the Programme, attempting to provide the students with a diversity of working contexts. The students will be pursuing their graduate studies through three distinct but complementary cultural environments: Track 1: Deusto (Spain), Tilburg (The Netherlands), ILF (Germany) or Track 2: Deusto (Spain), Tilburg (The Netherlands), Strasbourg (France).

-To equip the learner with the fundamental tools, at an advanced level, to approach complex realities providing them with competencies and all the necessary elements needed to critically analyze a commercial conflict form a European perspective (First Semester) or from an International perspective (Second Semester).
-To provide three areas of specialization: Intellectual and Industrial Property (pertinent to management and innovation); Finance (related to bank and finance); and finally, European Business Law (oriented towards a broader training in European business trade).
– To offer possibilities to students who wish to either take the internship and professional track or the research track.
-To acquire a trans-national perspective. The Programme will have an impact on the continuous formation of the executive and management board of business enterprises. The pertinent benefits will optimize business results, the opening up of companies to the emerging markets, and the maximization of competitive advantages.
-To focus on a problem-based approach developed by these educational institutions rather than on a traditional methodology.
-To adopt a student-centered approach where she/he is the focal point of learning and will therefore be equipped with the skills to progress independently.
