PhD Fellowship in Drug Delivery, Denmark

The purpose of the Drug Research Academy is to train the next generation of drug researchers. Emphasis is on integrated research training to enable researchers to conduct innovative drug research in an interdisciplinary and highly integrated environment. The PhD study programme includes obligatory PhD courses with focus on key elements in drug research. The industrial perspective is considered essential and at least three months of research must be carried out in an industrial environment. Applications are invited for the three-year fellowship from candidates that hold or expect to hold a master´s degree in a field relevant to the following project:

Postdoctoral Fellow Position, The Robotics Institute, USA

A postdoctoral fellowship in medical robotics is available in the Medical Instrumentation Laboratory in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon. The position will involve theoretical and experimental aspects of research in needle steering. The candidate should have a strong background in finite element modeling, design, and control systems, with practical experience in fabrication of mechanisms. The candidate will work with graduate students, undergraduates, and staff in the Medical Instrumentation Laboratory, as well as surgeons at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

2012 Boren Fellowship Basics, USA: Language Study

Boren Fellowships provide up to $30,000 to U.S. graduate students to add an important international and language component to their graduate education through specialization in area study, language study, or increased language proficiency. Boren Fellowships support study and research in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. The countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded. Boren Fellowships provide American graduate students, both at the master’s and the doctoral level, with the resources and encouragement they need to acquire skills and experiences in areas of the world critical to the future security of our nation, in exchange for their commitment to seek work in the federal government. Boren Fellowships provide support for overseas or domestic study, or a combination of both. The maximum level of support for a combined overseas and domestic program is $30,000 over 24 months.
