2011 Chancellor’s Scholarship for Trinidad and Tobago at University of Kent, UK

Through the generosity of the Chancellor of the University, Professor Sir Robert Worcester, we have been able to establish a scholarship in support of students from Trinidad and Tobago. The scholarship will be worth £1000 (for one year of study) towards the cost of tuition fees.
Hold a valid passport issued by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and be paying fees at the international rate.
Have satisfied the following conditions:
a.an application must have been made for a degree course at the University of Kent.
b.the applicant must have received an offer of a place on such a degree course.
c.the University must have received confirmation of the applicant’s acceptance of the offer.
d.the applicant must have demonstrated ability to fund their study programme.

At the point of application for the scholarship, you are asked to submit an original essay of between 750 to 1,000 words on the topic.Why have you chosen your selected degree programme; why have you applied to the University of Kent; and how do you see your degree at Kent preparing you for your life after graduation.All applications must include your application number, date of birth and the 750-1,000 word essay as specified above.
