Nottingham Trent University has an outstanding reputation for our commitment to research that shapes lives and society. As part of our continued pledge to invest in research excellence we are delighted to announce the availability of 12 fully-funded PhD bursary places.At least six of the bursaries will be awarded in the following world-leading research areas. Art and Design, Biological / Biomedical Sciences, Communication, Culture and Media Studies, English, Physical Sciences / Technology, Social Policy, In addition, up to six bursaries are available to further enhance developing excellence in NTU’s internationally leading research areas.The studentships will pay UK / EU fees and provide a maintenance stipend linked to the RCUK rate (£13,590 per annum for 2011/12) for up to three years.

2011 Newcastle University Business School Enterprise and Innovation Scholarship, UK: Humanities Arts and Social Sciences (HASS), Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE), and Medical Sciences

This funding may be available to students who are taking part on the following course(s):

  • Arts, Business and Creativity MA
  • Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship MSc

Newcastle University is delighted to announce a new Newcastle University Business School Enterprise and Innovation Scholarship intended to foster an interest and build skills in innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship. This scholarship is available to one postgraduate UK/EU student each year and we are now accepting applications from students planning to start their studies in September 2010. The scholarship will have a value of £1,500, payable towards tuition fees in the first instance.
Eligibility: You could be eligible to apply for the Enterprise and Innovation Scholarship if:  you have been offered a place on the MSc in Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship or the MA in Arts, Business and Creativity. You have been assessed as UK/EU for fees purposes, and are wholly or partially self-financing. You intend to register to start your studies during the 2010-11 academic year.

Newcastle University Latin America Scholarship – Mexico, UK: Humanities Arts and Social Sciences (HASS), Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE), and Medical Sciences

Newcastle University is delighted to announce a new international scholarship scheme.  2 scholarships will be available to Mexican students beginning postgraduate courses in Newcastle University in September 2011. The value of each award is £3000, payable towards the full international tuition fee.
Eligibility: In order to apply for one of these scholarships you must satisfy the following conditions: you must be a national of (or permanently domiciled) Mexico. You must hold a Conditional or Unconditional offer of a place on a Postgraduate degree programme at Newcastle University. You must have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes. You intend to register to start your studies during the 2011-12 academic years
