PhD Studentships Positions in Remote Sensing at University of Worcester, UK

The University of Worcester offers a number of three-year, full-time doctoral research studentships each year. All studentships are advertised in the national press and are available on a competitive basis. Each studentship attracts a bursary of £12,300 per Annam in addition to a full tuition fee waiver for UK/EU students. Overseas students are welcome to apply but will need to fund the balance of fees for Overseas Research Students. All applicants should apply on the application form supplied and return this by the closing date to the Graduate Research School either by post or email.

Research Funding for a Joint Doctorate for National and International Students, Belgium

The PhD-student has to stay minimum 6 months and maximum 24 months at Ghent University. The stay may be divided into several periods within the span of 4 years.

Who can apply?
This call is open to both foreign and Belgian candidates who are enrolled as a PhD student at a non-Flemish university or institution for higher education who want to take a joint doctorate at both their home institution and Ghent University.

How does it work?
The candidate applies for this funding jointly with a promoter of Ghent University. To find a promoter candidates can browse through the list of faculties.

The Research Council makes a selection of the applications. The selection is based on the evaluation of the project, the added value of the stay at Ghent University for the joint doctorate, the qualifications of the applicant and the scientific potential of both the promoter’s research group and the research group at the partner institution.

The applications must be submitted in English.
