PhD in Selfassembly of Milk Proteins, Denmark

With reference to the project manager, the work of the Ph.D. fellow will consist mainly of duties in connection with research and development within selfassembly of milk proteins (alpha-lactalbumin) into stabilized nanotubes for use as a functional ingredient in the food industry.

The appointee should have qualifications within the following areas:

  • Dairy chemistry and technology
  • Protein chemistry and analysis
  • Rheology of food materials
  • Food microstructure
  • Microscopy techniques, e.g. transmission electron microscopy

Qualification requirements:

In connection with the appointment to the post special importance will be attached to the applicant having the professional and personal qualifications stated below:

  • Passed Master´s degree in relation to the above subject area(s)

The Ph.D. fellow is also required to have research potential, to be enterprising and to possess good interpersonal skills.

PhD at The Resthaven Research

The Resthaven Research Scholarship has been established to support a suitably qualified graduate to carry out a program of study in disaster management in residential aged care facilities and older people in the community leading to the award of Doctor of Philosophy  One scholarship is available with a value of $30,000 per annum.

The successful applicant will undertake a PhD under the supervision of Dr Paul Arbon at Flinders University in the School of Nursing and Midwifery.

International Master in Tourism and Leisure

Scholarship Competition
MIB School of Management of Trieste, Italy is pleased to announce a scholarship competition for applicants to the tenth edition of International Master in Tourism and Leisure.

The scholarship is earmarked for tuition fees to attend the X edition of the International Master in Tourism & Leisure (October 2010-October 2011).

The scholarships will cover up to 70% of tuition (equivalent to EUR 12600.00 – 12 600 euros). The amount of scholarship will be deducted from tuition fees in general. In case of alleged neglect or exclusion for any reason, no amount of scholarship will be paid or reimbursed.

Candidates need to meet the following requirements:

  • Academic degree (or equivalent title) in any discipline;
  • Fluent in English (a TOEIC or TOEFL certificate is an asset);
  • An important work and life experience is an asset;
  • Under 30 years from October 2010.
