2011 Masdar Institute Fully Funded Master Scholarships in Science, Engineering and Information Technology

Masdar Institute accepts applications from qualified local and international students. Acceptance into the programs depends on academic qualifications and English proficiency, as all lectures, laboratory sessions, and written/oral examinations at the Institute will be conducted in English.

All successful applicants to Masdar Institute are offered a scholarship which provides full financial support. The scholarships, which are available to students from all nationalities, include all tuition fees, laptop, medical insurance, housing, travel expenses, and a cost of living allowance.

Eligibility:
-A relevant undergraduate degree – undergraduate degrees must be in the fields of science, engineering or information technology
-High CGPA – The minimum required for consideration for admissions is 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
-High GRE scores – The minimum score required on the GRE Quantitative is 700. There is no cut-off score for the Verbal and Analytical but these scores are also important and evaluated. The GRE exam cannot be waived.
-High TOEFL (or academic IELTS) – The minimum TOEFL score required is 91 (IBT) on the international TOEFL. The TOEFL can only be waived for native English speakers. The minimum academic IELTS score required is 6.5.
-High grades and scores are a prerequisite but are no guarantee of admission. Admission standards are in accordance with those of MIT

Scholarship Application Deadline: Masdar Institute practices a rolling admissions process. Applications normally open at the end of October2011 and tend to close the following May2011. However, the admissions process may close earlier if all slots are filled before then.

Curtin Engineering Merit International Scholarship, Australia

The Curtin Engineering Merit International Scholarship is available to international students who have completed their first semester of study at Curtin University in 2011 in an eligible course.
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the Curtin Engineering Merit International Scholarships: Be undertaking the first year of their first undergraduate degree, and completed the first semester of full time (100 credits) study with an average of 70.00 at Curtin University, in an eligible course in 2011
-Be an international student and hold a valid Student Visa – Higher Education (Subclass 573)
-Be a student of a WA College in 2010
-Receive a TER or equivalent of 95.00 or above in 2010

Nottingham Law School Masters Scholarships 2011-2012 for UK/EU Students, UK

These scholarships will be awarded to the candidates who most closely meet the criteria for the award which are provided below.The Scholarship decision will be made by an awarding committee and all decisions are final. If you are awarded a Scholarship your fee will be adjusted before enrolment. If you are a part time student your fee will be adjusted proportionally at the start of each year.

Applications must consist of a fully completed scholarship application form, together with an additional statement of a maximum of 750 words which directly addresses the criteria below. You must also submit evidence to prove that you have achieved a 2.1 or above (or EU equivalent) in your undergraduate degree. Please see Application Form for further details. The selection panel reserve the right to exclude from consideration any applications that include written statements which exceed the stated word limit.
