2011 Postdoctoral Position in Robotics at KTH – Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden

KTH is the largest technical university in Sweden. Education and research cover a broad spectrum within natural sciences and engineering, as well as architecture, industrial engineering and management, urban planning, work science and environmental engineering. KTH has 13.344 full-time equivalent students of whom 6.955 at Bachelor (first) level and 5.545 at Master (second) level. Graduate Research Position: Customizable Multi-Processor Architectures and Algorithms, Canada

This position will be based at the Okanagan campus of UBC, and will begin as soon as possible.
Successful candidates will work on one of two related projects in the area of run-time configurable computing systems. The first project involves architectures and compiler support for the run-time customization of multi-processor systems. It further involves the development of innovative (re-) configurable architectures based on FPGA and course-grained fabrics. The second project relates to the application of reconfigurable systems to various problems in biomedical processing, network security, finance, bioinformatics, or computer-aided design.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in hardware and software design with exposure to one or more of the following areas: advanced digital hardware design, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), computer architecture, software engineering, real-time systems, numerical analysis, algorithm analysis, and convex optimization.

Postdoctoral Position in Mathematical Physics at University of Cergy-Pontoise, France

The candidate should have a strong background in the study of quantum systems, with tools from spectral theory, nonlinear analysis and PDEs, or numerical analysis. She/he is expected to work in the team of the ERC Starting Grant project MNIQS and to interact with the other members of the project.
