SEESOX/Alpha Bank Fellowship on the Political Economy of South East Europe, UK: Political economy and European integration

The Alpha Bank Visiting Fellowship on the Political Economy of South East Europe provides financial assistance, donated by Alpha Bank, Greece, for academics with an expertise on thepolitical economy and European integration of the post-communist countries of the region.The applicants should hold a PhD in the related fields of economics, political science,political economy, international relations, and should have research experience indevelopments in the Balkan region. The purpose of the fellowship is to enable the Visiting.Fellow to undertake academic research on the political economy of South East Europe at SEESOX, St Antony’s College, Oxford.

NCITD International Trade Scholarship Program 2011-2012, USA

In recognition of its responsibility to promote and provide international trade education, NCITD has established a yearly scholarship for students of international trade.
Scholarships awarded (minimum $1,000) will be paid directly to the institution, in the name of the awardee(s).
Awardee(s) will also receive a one-year NCITD membership and will be welcome to attend monthly meetings (if not currently a member).
Criteria for Eligibility:
• Applicants must have at least “junior” status for 2011-2012 in an accredited U.S. college or university with at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average or equivalent “B” average.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing either an undergraduate or graduate degree in International Trade studies, such as political science, international relations, economics, international business, international law, international finance, etc. (including study abroad programs affiliated with a U.S. university).

DAR,Enid Hall Griswold,Memorial Scholarship in American History, 2011, USA

The DAR Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to qualified applicants regardless of race, religion, sex or national origin. All multi-year scholarships, typically renewable up to four years, must be for consecutive years of attendance at an accredited college or university in the United States. The ONLY exception is the American Indian Scholarship that is available for students pursuing vocational training. The Enid Hall Griswold Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a deserving junior or senior enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States who is pursuing a major in either political science, history, government, or economics.This is a one-time award in the amount of $1,000.All applicants must obtain a letter of sponsorship from their local DAR chapter. (The only exception is the American Indian Scholarship.) Your state scholarship chairman will assist in locating the chapter nearest you. Please send a self-addressed, stamped business-size envelope to obtain the name and address of your state scholarship chairman and an application for any of the following scholarships.
