Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) Bachelors and Masters Scholarships 2011 for International Students: International Studies, Business Administration

The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA), Government of Azerbaijan, is a school of International Affairs located in Baku, at the center of an increasingly significant part of the world, has offered scholarships for foreign students for Bachelor or Master studies for the Academic Year 2011-12. The details are as under:

Programs Offered:
Bachelors Program:
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (BAIS)

For either degree, the curriculum is divided into two components:
General Education: Year 1 and 2
Specialized Education: Year 3 and 4

The applicants who are selected in ADA will take one-year Intensive English Language Program (IELP). Those who pass the English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) at the end of the IELP start their study in the first year of the four year bachelor program.

Master in Diplomacy and International Affairs (MADIA)
Specializations:
· International Security and Conflict Resolution
· Caspian Basin Studies specializations

2011-2012 Michael Vergauwen Fund Scholarship, USA

The International Communications Industries Foundation (ICIF) is a non-profit charitable and educational
organization chartered to support the audiovisual communications industry, bringing manufacturers and dealers together to improve the industry through education and research.
Criteria
The scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to dependents of employees or employees of InfoComm member organizations. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
• Be a spouse, child, stepchild or grandchild of an employee of an InfoComm member organization or an employee of an InfoComm member organization in good standing at the time of application.
• Awarded one-time only to 3rd or 4th year students of 4-year degree, 2nd year students of 2-year degree programs or graduate school candidates.
• Have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) verified by a transcript from college attended.
o The application requires the most current and available college transcripts.
o Transcripts must be official transcripts and should be sent directly from each school attended to ICIF.
o Where GPA is not based on a four point scale please provide an explanation or equivalent

LeRoy Nosbaum Engineering Scholarship Program, USA

Itron, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist future engineers who plan to continue their education in college and accept a paid internship with the company. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at one of a number of selected institutions in the United States. This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®. Scholarship Management Services is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
– Students must be classified as third or fourth year students for the 2011-2012 academic year.
– Be pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or computer software engineering.
-Be enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at one of the following universities for the entire 2011-2012 academic year:
o Clemson University
o Eastern Washington University, Cheney
o Minnesota State University, Mankato
o North Carolina Agriculture & Technology State University
o North Carolina State University
o University of California, Berkeley
o Washington State University, Pullman
-Accept a paid internship at an Itron, Inc. research and development location. (Students who do not accept or do not complete the internship with Itron, Inc. will immediately forfeit their LeRoy Nosbaum Engineering Scholarship.)
