Yvonne A M Smith Charitable Trust Scholarship, New Zealand: Business Administration , Economics, Law &Political Science

The Trust which funds the scholarship has been established by Mrs Yvonne A M Smith. The Scholarship is intended for the advancement of the education of women graduates who wish to embark upon Masters or Doctoral studies with preference being given to the subject area of political studies, economics, business and law.
Eligibility :Preference will also be given to applicants who demonstrate potential for leadership and potential to make a significant contribution to New Zealand

Simpson Grierson established these scholarships in 2003 to assist students studying for the LLB to complete their studies and gain work experience.Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand who, during the year of tenure, will be enrolled full time for the penultimate year of LLB study at the University of Canterbury (in either a single or double degree programme).

Global Studies Scholarship at University of Canterbury, New Zealand

This scholarship was established in 2009 by Dr Kennedy Graham, MP; Senior Adjunct Fellow, School of Law, University of Canterbury.For the student who is judged to have submitted the best essay in an annual essay competition.Applicants for the scholarship must be students enrolled in 200 or 300 level courses at the University of Canterbury and must be in their final year of study for a Bachelor’s degree.
The scholarship shall be awarded to assist the recipient complete a Masters or Honours degree in any faculty at the University of Canterbury and shall be paid to the recipient on that student enrolling in such a degre
