University of Southampton Postgraduate Scholarships 2011-2012, UK: Arts and Design

Winchester School of Art announced Postgraduate Scholarships to both UK/EU and international students . The scholarships have been put in place to assist students during their studies at the School.
The following scholarship are available for students:
-Postgraduate Taught Scholarships
-European Pathways Scholarships
-Progression Scholarships
-Confidence Scholarships
-Equal Opportunity Scholarships
The candidate can apply for scholarship depending on which programme you are starting next year, you will need to fill Postgraduate application form. There are several choices of Scholarships on each form, so you will need to state clearly which one you wish to apply for. Applications for the above scholarships will be considered only after the applicant has been offered a place and accepted the offer by returning the “Reply to Offer”slip.

2011 Overseas Postgraduate Scholarships at St Mary’s University College, UK

St Mary’s is pleased to announce that we will be offering thirty overseas postgraduate scholarships of £4,000 each, in line with our mission. Applications should follow the regular postgraduate application process and should be accompanied by a covering letter and relevant supporting documents which address the following criteria:
•Financial need supported with evidence
•Clearly defined mission-related request and objective
•Evidence of high academic achievement (2.1 or above in first degree)
•Two academic references (as per the postgraduate application process)

The School of Sociology and Social Policy is a vibrant, diverse and exciting centre for social science teaching and research. The School’s commitment to teaching and research that has an impact on society is reflected in the launch of these exciting Making a difference scholarships.

The scholarships can only be used as part-payment towards tuition fee costs and cannot be used in conjunction with any other School funding award. Applicants must be in receipt of an offer of a place to study on one of the following programmes before applying for a scholarship.Up to 10 tuition-fee scholarships worth £1,500 each could be offered, for students applying to study full-time or part-time.
